WHY INTERCEPTIVE ORTHO?
Throughout my career, I’ve always believed that prevention is far more powerful than cure—because by the time we’re talking about a cure, the problem has already taken root. This principle is especially true in orthodontics. I don’t advocate for the outdated idea of “waiting until all the baby teeth have fallen out” before taking action. In fact, early intervention can often prevent more invasive treatments down the line, such as extractions or complex corrective procedures.
Since moving to the UK, I’ve noticed a significant gap in the preventive approach to orthodontics. Many families come to me for a second opinion after being advised to simply wait, or worse, to plan for extractions. These experiences only strengthen my belief in a conservative, interceptive model—one that focuses on guiding natural growth and development rather than reacting to problems once they’re fully formed.
For the past seven years, I’ve been dedicated to helping families achieve the best outcomes for their children—balancing function, facial harmony, and aesthetics—through early, thoughtful, and minimally invasive orthodontic care. My goal is to educate, empower, and support parents in making informed decisions that safeguard their children’s long-term oral health and confidence.
